My “Why” for becoming a Heritage Makers Consultant!
My “why” begins with my passion for making sure I preserve the
precious memories my young family makes together. I was into “traditional” scrapbooking and card making before the birth of my first son. I knew
I wanted to give him a baby album but found I could not keep up my scrapbooking as I became increasingly busy being a mom and then returning to a
full time job! That is when I thought digital was the way to go!
My interest in learning how to digital scrapbook is what led me to Heritage Makers. I remember going and looking at digital scrapbooking magazines and not understanding how I was to manage all of the software on my computer. I also did not understand where and how I would get my scrap pages printed. Then I went to a Heritage Makers workshop at a neighbour’s home and everything clicked!
The consultant that night explained that Heritage Makers is a company that believes in the power of story to strengthen families. I believe this myself, which is why I make my yearly storybooks, and also the very reason my connection with the company was immediate!
At this point I truly loved the company and its story; but what really made me become a client was “Studio”! I was amazed at how easy it was to upload my pictures into files on my own Heritage Makers account. I could then drag and drop my pictures onto my page (or a template) and then customize the page with background pages and embellishments, not to mention as much text as I wanted. These were the storybooks and cards I always wanted to create digitally and now I had everything I needed on one site at my fingertips. And finally, I could then order my finished product and have it sent to my house!

After a short time as a client I became a consultant. I loved this company and its beautiful products and I wanted to help others learn how to create and preserve their own stories. Plus, I loved the thought of making some extra money on the side to help pay off some bills or go on a nice holiday! So I went online and ordered my consultant kit. The support I received from my sponsor and our upline was great relief to me. Any question I had (big or small) was answered, I never felt alone or like I was just another number! I gave my first workshop, and within a couple of months had earned the money I invested in my business kit back! Now 3 kids later I am as passionate as ever about this company and how it can help improve the lives of its clients, and consultants alike!
I love the freedom I have being a Heritage Makers consultant! I get to set my own goals, work as little or as much as I like and most importantly get the projects done for my family that are so dear to me at a discount. PRICELESS!
